I began to create for the dance in 1992, working as a stage designer and dramaturge for the dancer and choreographer Amanda Miller, first with pretty ugly dancecompany then Ballet Freiburg prettyugly and later Pretty Ugly Tanz Köln. Of the nearly fifty dances we created over a decade, both for prettyugly iterations and later on many of the great dance companies of the world, with Miller as choreographer and myself as stage, light and graphic designer, and twice as composer, here are a dozen works presented between 1992 and 2003.
